Presentazione

Il rassicurante quotidiano dei personaggi delle sculture dell'irlandese Patrick Campbell e dei dipinti della toscana Simona Dolci caratterizza l'originale allestimento della mostra “Il dolce rumore della vita”, che a partire dal 3 marzo 2018 si tiene in Piazza del Duomo, nella Chiesa e nelle sale e nel giardino del Chiostro di Sant'Agostino. I protagonisti delle opere dei due artisti, infatti, ci portano ad apprezzare la bellezza delle persone che affrontano la vita di ogni giorno, al maschile e al femminile, nella loro normalità. Le figure trovano perfetta collocazione negli spazi espositivi di Pietrasanta, integrandosi con l'ambiente che li ospita. La presentazione dell'esposizione, concepita ad hoc fin nei minimi dettagli, offre grande respiro alle opere, in modo da permettere ai visitatori una godibile fruizione della mostra.

 Desidero ringraziare la curatrice della mostra Antonella Ierardi ed il designer Alessandro Innocenti, per aver dedicato così tanta cura alla realizzazione dell'esposizione, ma soprattutto gli artisti Simona Dolci e Patrick Campbell che, grazie alle loro pregevoli opere, ci trasportano in una quotidianità meno scontata e molto più valorizzata.

The reassuring daily life of the characters of the sculptures by Irish artist Patrick Campbell and of the paintings by Tuscan Simona Dolci distinguishes the original set-up of the “The Sweet Noise of Life” exhibition, which, starting from March 3^rd, 2018, will be presented in the Square of the Cathedral, in the Church and in the Rooms and in Garden of the Cloisters of Saint Augustine. In fact, the protagonists of the two artists' works bring us to appreciate the beauty of the people who face the every day life, in the male and female versions, in their normality. These figures find a perfect position in the Pietrasanta exhibition sites, by integrating themselves with the environment that hosts them. The presentation of the exposition, precisely conceived for this location even in the minimum details, offers great breath to the artworks, in order to allow the visitors a pleasant enjoyment of the exhibition.

I would like to thank the organizer of the exposition, Antonella Ierardi, and designer Alessandro Innocenti, for having dedicated so much care to the realization of this exhibition, but above all the artists Simona Dolci and Patrick Campbell, who, thanks to their prestigious works, transport us in a less granted and much more appreciated daily routine.
